    1. My father bought a death mask at an auction many years ago. To the best of my knowledge, it is not from anyone famous or notable. However as far back as I can remember he had it hanging in his university office.

    2. He has his eyes closed, because, he is probably thinking really hard about important stuff

    3. It’s called a “death mask.” That’s what it has been called for hundreds of years. There’s no need to change the terminology. Literally no one calls it a “posthumous mask.”
